Amid the recent funding crunch and tech layoffs in Asia, many have found it difficult to move up in their careers in the industry.

This is a problem Singapore-based NodeFlair is looking to solve with its career advancement platform.

The company recently raised US$2 million in a series A round led by Iterative, with 500 Global and Persol Venture Partners participating.

Founded in 2018 by Ethan Ang and Adrian Goh, the firm’s platform offers job listings and reviews of companies – including payslip-verified salary information.

It focuses on tech jobs across the region, counting companies like Nvidia, Dyson, Shopee, Alibaba, and Google among the recruiters on its platform. “We believe tech professionals and companies deserve greater access to reliable, accurate data,” Ang said in a statement.

The fresh funds will be used for market expansion, product development, and to grow its 40-member team.

NodeFlair, which recently expanded to Vietnam, says its platform has 2 million annual visitors. The startup wants to be profitable by 2024.
